COMMISSIONS

Periodically, I accept commissions, but it is not a significant part of my creative production. As opposed to my speculative work, I appreciate that these pieces are designed and created with their owner in mind. While working on the piece, I find myself reflecting on my connection (personal or professional) with the client and how this new creation will build on that connection. Sometimes the designs are based on previous pieces I’ve made and sometimes they are an entirely new challenge. I appreciate and enjoy how this process reinvigorates my experience in my studio.
